Accelerating Biobehavioral Nursing Research to Achieve Healthy Equity Using Secondary Data Analysis

In this webinar sponsored by the Biobehavioral Interest and Implementation Group and moderated by Dr. Darina Petrovsky, Drs. Docherty and Walker will present an overview of the MURDOCK Study Community Registry and Biorepository, a groundbreaking longitudinal study based in the southeastern U.S. The MURDOCK Biorepository Transformation Initiative is an example of an opportunity for nurse scientists to use biospecimens to examine the relationships between social determinants of health and biological processes. The webinar will end with a Q&A discussion on how nurse scientists can formulate research questions and hypotheses based on secondary data analysis to accelerate biobehavioral nursing research.
